Wim Hof Trainer Daniel introduces himself

 

Hi dear guests, 
my name is Daniel and as a Wim Hof Instructor I will accompany you into new spheres that we rarely reach in our everyday lives.
Be curious and open to new things, listen deeply to your body, mind and soul - a pure transformation of your body and your willpower.

 


For me, the overarching goal of the retreat is:

What distinguishes the Wim Hof Method and my work in particular:

Did you know,....
that breathing is one of the few basic functions of the autonomic nervous system that we can CONSCIOUSLY influence and control.
While many other functions such as heartbeat, digestion and blood pressure run automatically and without conscious control, we can change our breathing at will.
This enables us to activate forces that lie deep within us.

 

We will examine questions such as these and many more together and also gain an insight into the theory and individual studies of the Wim Hof Method.
After all, we want to know what is behind the “ice bathing” hype and why more and more people are turning to cold exposure and targeted breathing techniques.

Nice to have you here!  

 

 

 

Allow me to introduce myself....
My name is Vera Kals, some of you may already know me from the regular yoga classes at the Berau Seewiese in summer or the Berau Yoga Retreats.
After almost 14 years in Vienna and abroad, I have now been back in my hometown of Bad Ischl for a few years. Thanks to my numerous retreats at home and abroad, I still enjoy traveling a lot, but I wouldn't want to miss my “base” in the Salzkammergut. One thing the Berau hosts and I have in common is our openness, warmth and courage for new projects, such as our various retreats.

 

About my professional background...
Professionally, I am a real all-rounder, which is certainly reflected in my teaching. What sets me apart are my different professional backgrounds, namely law on the one hand and being a trainer on the other. For me, it is the perfect combination that gives me foresight and allows me to put myself in the shoes of my clients in their different situations.


My training in the health sector...
In addition to my yoga teacher training and numerous further training courses in the field of yoga, I have also trained as a Pilates instructor and a health and rehabilitation trainer. It is important to me to always convey my holistic approach to our body and our health to the participants, without pressure to perform, but with openness and curiosity.

 

About my teaching style...
My strengths are my empathy and my humorous, open and sociable nature. I want to make yoga and other forms of movement accessible and tangible for everyone. In my classes and retreats, I always respond to the needs of the group and create a space in which everyone feels comfortable and in good hands. It is very important to me personally that the exercises are guided precisely and that the breathing is coordinated with them. With me, you will learn the anatomically correct execution of the exercises, always adapted to the different levels of the participants.
